Biography / Administrative History
Theresa Chambers was a booking agent for the New York City club the Mercury Lounge. Chambers was the first booker to bring acts such as the Jesus and Mary Chain, Sinead O'Connor, and The Sugarcubes to the United States, and was instrumental in showcasing bands such as Hüsker Dü, Mazzy Star, and the Pixies.

The Theresa Chambers Collection spans the years 1995 to 2001, and contains one diary and one folder of correspondence from Chambers' work as a booking agent for the Mercury Lounge, a club located on Houston St., New York.
