Biography / Administrative History
Bruce Lundvall is an American record company executive, most recently the president/CEO of the Blue Note Label Group, and previously the president of Elektra and CBS Records. His career began in marketing for Columbia Records.
Scope and Contents
The Bruce Lundvall Collection contains 52 photographs featuring Blue Note executive Bruce Lundvall and various recording artists, primarily from the 1970s and 1980s, as well as copies of letters sent to Lundvall from other recording artists. Artists represented include Joan Baez, Jackson Browne, Heart, Janis Ian, Billy Joel, Willie Nelson, Carlos Santana, and Boz Scaggs, among others.
