James Marshall "Jimi" Hendrix (born Johnny Allen Hendrix, November 27, 1942 – September 18, 1970) was an American guitarist and singer-songwriter. He is one of the most influential electric guitarists in rock music and was inducted into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1992.

This is Jimi Hendrix's original, handwritten lyrics to the song "Purple Haze" on crumpled, yellow note paper.
