The Who’s Tommy is a rock musical with music and lyrics by Pete Townshend based on the Who’s 1969 rock opera “Tommy.” It debuted at the La Jolla Playhouse on July 1, 1992.
Des McAnuff is an American-Canadian former artistic director of the Stratford Shakespeare Festival and the directory of Broadway musical theatre productions.

Des McAnuff's collection of "The Who's Tommy" stage production at the La Jolla (CA) Playhouse (1992) includes one playhouse program featuring the cast, crew, and production notes. Also included are six 8"x10" black and white production stills with scenes from the play.
