The Rick Marinan Video Recordings contain noncommercial digital video and DVD recordings spanning 1965 to 2023. The videos consist mostly of live performances and televised music specials, including many performances from the German music television show Rockpalast. Artists include, but are not limited to, The Beatles, Black Crowes, Black Sabbath, Bon Jovi, David Bowie, Jackson Browne, The Cars, Chicago, Dire Straits, INXS, Kiss, Kraftwerk, Madness, Bob Marley, Metallica, Michael Stanley Band, Van Morrison, Patti Smith Group, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, The Pretenders, Procol Harum, The Psychedelic Furs, Lou Reed, R.E.M., Linda Ronstadt, Santana, Talking Heads, James Taylor, Thin Lizzy, George Thorogood and the Destroyers, U2, Van Halen, Tom Waits, and The Who. Several performances take place in and around Cleveland, Ohio. The collection will be valuable to researchers interested in viewing performances that have not been commercially released.
