Bob Dylan is an American singer, songwriter, and musician. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1988.
Scope and Contents
The Mel Prussack Collection of Bob Dylan Recordings contains non-commercial audio recordings of Dylan concerts, studio outtakes, and demos on 685 compact discs and 220 vinyl LP records. Many of the compact disc recordings span two or three discs, resulting in a total of 1,103 compact discs. The collection is part of what was known as the "Dylan Shrine," a room that Prussack devoted to all things Dylan at his former home in Old Bridge, New Jersey. The collection is separated into an alphabetical list of recordings, a numbered list of recordings, an index to the recordings entitled "Galileo's Math Book," and an alphabetical list of vinyl recordings.

Acquisition Note: The Mel Prussack Collection of Bob Dylan Recordings was received by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum, Inc., as gifts from Mel and Zel Prussack on November 28, 2014 and April 30, 2015.
