Biografie / Verwaltungsgeschichte
Dorothee Pesch, commonly known as Doro Pesch, was born in 1964 in Düsseldorf, Germany. She is a heavy metal vocalist known for her time as the lead singer of the metal band “Warlock” which was active 1982-1989. At the end of the 1980s, most of the original members of Warlock had parted ways from the band, and in 1989, Pesch began to perform many of the same songs under the alias “Doro.” Doro has continued to be active, releasing nineteen albums. She is widely regarded as one of the few female-fronted heavy metal artists to have achieved sustained prominence.
