Biografie / Verwaltungsgeschichte
The Boddie Recording Company was the first African American owned and operated recording studio in Cleveland, ran by Thomas and Louise Boddie. The studio recorded a wide variety of musical genres, such as soul, gospel, and rhythm & blues. The company also ran a number of small record labels. The studio opened in the 1950s and closed in 2006 after the death of Thomas Boddie.
