WJW, channel 8, is a Fox-affiliated television station in Cleveland, Ohio.

The WJW TV-8 Audiovisual Collection consists of interviews, show segments, recordings, and concert footage from various bands and artists on 1/4-inch audio tape, 3/4-inch videotape, 1-inch videotape, 2-inch videotape, 16mm film, and audio cartridges used for radio broadcast. The footage includes coverage of Bryan Adams, the Beatles, Boy George, Stewart Copeland, Dion, Melissa Etheridge, Fleetwood Mac, Peter Gabriel, J. Geils Band, Kiss, Little Feat, Queen, Lou Reed, Bob Seger, Simon and Garfunkel, and Traveling Wilburys. Television shows represented include: Revolutions Per Minute, Tomorrow's Music Today, and Rock N Roll Tonight. Materials are organized by format. Some material may be stored separately due to size and condition concerns.

Some of the audiovisual materials in the collection are on defunct media formats and, therefore, are RESTRICTED. Access copies of these materials will have to be created prior to use. Consult the Library and Archives staff in advance of your visit to ensure access to these materials is available.
